Hi Mark Shontayne here from Kawakawa Primary School. I like your post on why do boats float. I found this post very interesting, maybe you could make a 3rd column for the cup because it can sink if you add too much water but, float if it has no water yea it's just a thought. Come look at my blog at http://kpsshontayned.blogspot.com/ when you have the time cya.
Kia ora Mark my name is Tunisia and year 8 student from Kawakawa Primary School. This slide you have made is very interesting about floating and sinking, my class have also learnt about this topic in the past. The way you made rows are very helpful to know what sinks and float. If you would like the check out my buoyant slide post or other go to http://kpstunisiaw.blogspot.co.nz/ see you later.
Kia Ora Mark, my name is Nevaeh and I go to Paihia School. I really enjoyed reading your post about things that float. I had no clue what buoyancy meant but you explained it quite good. I really liked your background it was appropriate and it was related to the topic. Why does some surprisingly big boats float. Maybe next time you could be more specific and explain why some items include buoyancy and why some Items do not besides that good job. Ka kite
